Education keeps hospital executives, managers, board members, as well as clinical and non-clinical staff, knowledgeable about the quickly changing aspects of healthcare. This includes regulatory requirements, as well as addressing day-to-day operational needs.
The Tennessee Hospital Education & Research Foundation (THERF) is the educational arm of the Tennessee Hospital Association (THA).
The trustees of THERF are the THA board of directors. The board may accept any grants, contributions, gifts or bequests for the general purpose or any special purpose of THA. THERF also can receive contributions for financing special education, career or research projects.
THERF provides education programs of interest to hospital employees throughout the year, including THA’s annual meeting, summer conference and small or rural hospital conference.
