The Agenda 21 program aims to match minority students with executive level internships in hospitals across the state in an effort to diversify future hospital administration teams and boardrooms. Since its inception in the early 1990s, the program has produced dozens of alumni who now serve in leadership roles across the state and country.

Applications for interns currently are being accepted for the summer 2018 cycle. The cost to a hospital to host an intern is $10,000 and full details are available at

Hospitals who are interested in hosting an intern are asked to contact Yolanda James at (615) 401-7422.
