PROGRAM OVERVIEW:

With ‘routine’ admissions dwindling, skilled nursing facilities (SNF) must pursue new initiatives to attract patients with greater care needs.  Successful operators leverage a strategic approach using data focusing on referral patterns to develop specialized programs based on patient needs, and successfully market those specialized services.  This session will explain each step of this strategic process, including real-world success stories demonstrating the value of this approach.

  • Identify the causes and impact of dwindling ‘routine’ SNF admissions.
  • Demonstrate the use of Medicare claims data to gain valuable insights regarding referral sources’ changing needs.
