Healthcare is complicated…and yet, it can be simple. The solutions to the challenges in patient care lie in collaboration. Innovative ideas brought to life. Data and technology breakthroughs.
However, the mission of all hospitals remains simple and true: to put the patient first. Our theme this year is “Our Priority, Our Patients.”
Whether your facility is small or large, urban or rural, acute care, specialty or behavioral health, your “why” is caring for patients and their families. As THA prepares for its 81st Annual Meeting, the “how” regarding the patient priority is on everyone’s minds.
This year’s Annual Meeting delivers answers in the form of education sessions, dynamic speakers and tackle topics, such as patient and family caregiver engagement. We also will answer the big questions on adversity and improved care, like “How can I prevent workplace violence?” or “How can LEAN methodologies lead to better outcomes for patients?”
This year, the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), and THA’s Tennessee Center for Patient Safety (TCPS) and the Tennessee Organization of Nurse Executives (TONE) are partnering together to offer three ACHE Face-to-Face credit hours at the opening Leadership Summit.
ACHE and the National Association of Health Services Executives (NAHSE) also will jointly sponsor Friday’s breakfast, which will include a keynote presentation from Heather Rohan, 2019 ACHE chairman, and a panel discussion about inclusion.
Because of these great partnerships, we will be offering up to 5.5. ACHE F2F continuing education (CEs) credits — the most ACHE F2F CEs ever offered before at annual meeting.
As always, the Annual Meeting will provide multiple opportunities to network, exchange ideas and chat with both old and new colleagues and friends.
We cannot wait to see you in October!
Many thanks for all you do and we will see you real soon!
