Register now to attend the 2-day TCPS Infection Prevention Bootcamp on Thursday and Friday, February 13-14, 2020. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from experts on designing and managing effective infection prevention programs and strategies to prevent healthcare-associated infections. Expert faculty for the bootcamp is Barb DeBaun, MSN, CIC, an improvement advisor with Cynosure Health. Other presenters include infection prevention professionals from Tennessee hospitals and the Tennessee Department of Health.
This program will provide information and inspiration to Infection Preventionists (IPs) who are seeking practical and innovative approaches to reducing healthcare-associated infections (HAI). This interactive and engaging two-day session is designed to enhance foundational knowledge and creative approaches to infection prevention. The course is geared to IPs who have less than five years of experience in the infection prevention field. Practitioners who have more experience are welcome to attend the workshop to be refreshed and recharged and for others to learn from.
The cost for registration is $200. Attendees from THA member hospitals traveling more than 50 miles one way are eligible for reimbursement for mileage and one night’s hotel stay (up to $200 room rate per night). This program offers 10.75 contact hours provided by Cynosure Health.
