Tim Adams, regional operating officer and senior vice president with Ascension and former president and chief executive officer for Saint Thomas in Tennessee, was installed as chair of the Tennessee Hospital Association’s (THA) Board of Directors during the Association’s recent Annual Meeting.
Adams joined Ascension in 2018 and has operational responsibility for several Ascension markets, including Ascension Saint Thomas’s 13 inpatient facilities in Middle Tennessee in addition to a network of physician practices, joint ventures and community partnerships.
During the meeting, Michael Ugwueke, president and CEO at Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare, Memphis, was elected chair-elect of the board. He was named to his position in 2017 after serving as chief operating officer of the system.
Janelle Reilly, market CEO at CHI Memorial, Chattanooga, now is immediate past chair after serving as the 2022-2023 THA board chair.
