The Tennessee Hospital Association (THA), in collaboration with the Tennessee Center for Patient Safety (TCPS), is proud to recognize hospitals across the state with the 2024 Zero Harm Awards. These awards honor hospitals and clinical departments that achieved zero healthcare-associated infections in one or more of the following categories over a full calendar year: Catheter-Associated Urinary Tract Infections (CAUTI), Central Line-Associated Bloodstream Infections (CLABSI), Clostridium difficile Infections (CDI), and Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA).
This year, 106 member hospitals are receiving Zero Harm Awards, including 16 hospitals that achieved hospital-wide zero harm in all four eligible categories:
